I live in Australia. I own a Caster zx1.5r & Caster Fusion rtr truggy.

I think my Casters are great & my LHS is the supplier in my region. BUT he charges HEAPS for parts which I know somewhere on the internet I can get for half the price. Q: does anyone know a website I can buy Caster parts either local or in the US???

Q2: My Fusion Truggy is Brand new. still in the box. At the moment I have 2x 2s Lipo's 5000mah 20c rating. My LHS guy says that these will be useless in my new Truggy? He says I need a HIGHER "c" rating?? is C rating important.

Casterracingusa.com is the site here in the US...I couldn't tell you for sure about your batteries but I'm sure someone will chime in with details

5,000mah x 20C = 100,000 / 1000 = 100amps continuous
Most 8th scale setups run 120a continuous esc's. Most battery manufactures are not consistent in their c ratings so your 100a capable batteries may be actually 80a continuous. So neither on paper nor in real life should those batteries be sufficient. Hope this helps, didn't want to just give a yes/no answer. Can you get by with them? Possibly but not likely. You would have to run a smaller pinion than normal to cut down on amp draw. These lipos will probably end up puffed in a truggy.
