Default Advise Please: Wheels for steering modified Losi 8ight EU

Hi, I have modified the king pin spindle of my Losi 8ight EU to increase the steering. Now the ribs in my AKA rims are rubbing on the carrier screws. I have ground the edge of the screws but the ribs on inside of my rims still rub on full lock. I was wondering is there a better rim to suit, ie a rim with smaller ribs.
Any advise, might have to grind the ribs back a bit inside my rims.
