I had been running the Bitty before, I did like the Bitty over the stock Serpent body and the 2.0 body felt like the Bitty.

Mines on order can't wait should have ordered earlier. I know its going to improve performance . Hard to imagine cause the current buggy performs awesome already.

Also liking the new body. I know some people don't like when things change especially cause the TE just came out but I would rather have more options then none. Serpent is a true race brand there always improving things that's awesome sad part is my other half will love me even more $$$$$.

Don't forget the rear shock is from the truggy make sure you have springs for the guys only running buggy I'm assuming you will run truggy springs- Paul please clarify

Springs are the same as before but we will have a new style spring set available soon for better tuning options.

Dang!! And I Still have one brand new in box TE lying around for spares

Paul, is the TE upgradeable to 2.0? I have latest batch TE with 5 screws radio tray and forward body.... Sorry if this has been asked before, my wife almost banned rctech from our home internet, so no time to research

Pardon my ignorance, I found out it's upgradeable... So is it safe to assume I don't need to upgrade my radio tray since I already have the one with 5 holes on it?? So I only need to buy rear end upgrade and diff upgrade yes? Does the new diff run different bearing? Not the flanged bearing? Does the diff upgrade involves all 3 Diffs or only the center one?

It depends on how you want to set it up. I'd say 2.5 or 2.3 rear sway bar, grey, yellow or white spring, 1.3 tapered 8hole piston, webbed bladder. I'm running 2.5 rear sway bar, white spring, 1.3 tapered 8 hole piston and webbed bladder.

The carbon version now has one extra hole but after testing we don't think you'll need to use it. So no it's not the same but the old one will be fine.

the car i currently drive is the version that was out b4 the te came out. so i have the first version drive line with the 3 bearing diff coupler. i would like to convert this car to the 2.0. i won't be able to do this all at once. so i was wondering where should i start. i was thinking with the rear end update. also will the updated part help the performance of the car without having to buy all the parts at once.

The single biggest change would be the rear end update. In the end it will be cheaper to just get a new 2.0 kit by the time you buy all the couplers, hubs bearings, rear end kits etc if you want to upgrade the whole thing. You could sell yours or keep it for some spares.

+1 your looking at over 200.00 just for the drive line upgrade plus the 2.0 rear end upgrade will set you back 159.00 through amain or cheaper through me. if you still rather go the upgrade route i would do the drive line first.
