Competition Servo Recommendations for 1/8 Buggy
I have blown out both the throttle servo and steering servo on my 8.2 I am wondering what people would recommend as for servo manufactures and models for this. I am looking for competition grade servos and ones that are reliable. Thanks!

Hitec all the way. You can't go wrong with a 7955 at all bro.

If you're blowing alot of servos, get a Hitec. They have a 2 year warranty, so you'll have 1 extra year of coverage over all other manufacturers... Just buy new.
If you weren't blowing servos, I would say get a Radiopost. There's no servo on the market that has the same feel as a Radiopost.

I am in the market for new servos as well. What's the deal with the hitec 7955? I use the 7940 and 7950. They are good servos but I want something that will last longer. I have 3-7950 and 2-7940 which are under 2.5 years old, and ALL of them have been sent in for repairs at least once. Will the 7955 outlast the 7940 and 7950?

What are you doing to kill servos? You're using the rubber blocks, and not overtightening them, right? They aren't too close to the chassis or anything?

Rubber blocks installed, tight enough to keep servo in place but not tight enough to squish the rubber blocks. And yes EPA is good, Never tweaks engine or chassis. They have been put through hell. I've done lots of racing the past 2 years. I believe they have performed outstanding which is why I will b buying more Hitec servos. Just haven't decided which ones.

Ko propo or Radio Post. Hitec's are good but KO Propo and Radio Post are next level and the 2 best with customer service. If you have a problem no questions asked and they will be replaced. I put KO Propo just ahead, but if the Radio Post last as long as Ko Propo than I give the nod to Radio Post. The Radio Post servos are much better than the new Savox servos and much smoother and quieter. Love them in my truggy and the KO Propo have been the Cat's Meow in the buggy. At $120 a piece the Radio Post are a much better than the Hitec 7955 and yes I have (had) them!!!!
