Default Sirio engines M.I.A.???

Hey all; I know that the Kyosho team was using Sirio engines for quite a while and when that partnership ended team Trinity became the USA distributor for Sirio engines ,But now you hear very little from them so what's up? I know their high price has scared many off as well. Thanks

i do believe sirio was made in house by a company called star motor witch produce micro motors, witch currently make orion, werks, sirio engines was made with adrien bertien and star motors who designed the sirio motors then star motors produced the sirio motor, bertien moved on too design orion motors in conjunction with team orion and some dude called neidhart from team orion, like i said i could be wrong but i am 90% sure this is the case as the reason you dont see anymore sirio motors. i think some company now has the blue prints of the original sirio motors witch now have just slapped their name on the sirio based motors wich still get made by star motors.

Lavorazioni Meccaniche Srl or "LM" is the manufacturer for Orion, Werks, Nvision and a few other brands of engines.

Sirio is the "house" brand for LM. Sirio is still in production, and they produce really nice engines. The reason we don't hear anything about them in the states, is that they have an importer who seems to refuse to support the brand. I tried to start importing Sirio engines into the states, and after a few emails back and forth, I never heard from them again.

It's funny though. Why could that be? Is Orion paying Trinity to be a shixxy importer or something? Why would a good engine co. have obviously so little interest in expanding its sales? Must be something going on behind the scenes with the other players..

It's so Orion can charge $200 extra per engine. Gotta pay for that team some how. lol

You're links are outdated. Sirio is currently distributed by Schepismodels who is the sole worldwide distributor.

Ran one on a Orion CRF 3-Port for a while. Decent power all around, a little lacking at the very top. Didn't really care about mileage at the time, but it wasn't really out of the norm.

I spoke with schepis, in regards to both sirio and the boss engines. At the time, what they were charging, and with the exchange rate, it wasn't feasible. Perhaps with the euro about to fall apart, it might be time for someone to revisit.

Well Sirio just made the podium at the Arena Race in Europe. 2nd place for Davide Tortorici. Maybe things are stirring once more.
