Default Losi 8ight, 1.0, possible issue with carburetor tuning

Hello all. New to the sport. Purchased a good quality, used 8ight 1.0. I took it apart, cleaned it, put in new bearings, checked electronics and fixed the starter box. After I was able to get the car started, it seemed like the engine immediately was running near top speed and the wheels started spinning before it was even on the ground. I have to have the brakes on to get it to not move at all and it is hard to stop once it gets moving. I have tried to manually tune the carburetor and made some changes on my transmitter and I am still running into the same issue. It does not look like the carburetor is wide open, but it runs like it is.

Any suggestions or advice on how I might troubleshoot?

You may be running too lean, your idle may be too high, your piston sleeve may be worn.
