Default Help with Xray XB8 needed!

I just received an xb8 , i was previously planning to convert it to electric but changed my mind afterwards.

How good is it compared to the latest cars?

Its my first nitro, got around 6 electric cars.

I need help with choosing an engine for it.
Here we drive in a really small parking lot.

I found an engine on ebay for $80
SH .21 pt21-p3 i guess its 3 port.

Is it worth it? Remember 1st nitro.
Or should i get something more decent like a hyper .21 4port or even 8 port?

On clutch assembly can i go on an ofna lx2 assembly? 14t?

If the track has smaller jumps, or races 1/10th and 1/8th on the same small jump style track the XB8 should do excellent. On rough blown out tracks with huge jumps it'll be hurting.

Amain still has parts. I'd use the Xray clutch bell and any shoes/springs you want.

I'd put in the OS 21XZ-b, P3 plug. I have the hardest time tuning engines tht don't have a turbo plug.

Forgot to say i'm planning to drive in a parking lot on road without any jumps.

Posted in the on road section but didnt get any response. I thought it would be more appropriate in the off road section.

I dont want want to spend too much right now.
Thats why im keeping it as nitro.

Budget of $150 tops for engine.

Buggy will be fine for parking lot racing.

For motors, look at the Fusion X3. It's made by Novarossi and you won't find a better quality motor for the price.

I have no experience with them so I can't really comment.
You shouldn't have any problems finding a Novarossi P3XS. I believe that's in your price range and a great motor that will last if you take care of it.
