Default HardCore AE Guy Switch to Losi?

Hey guys, its been about 2 years since I have been to the track, I know alot has happened since then with the new RC8.2 which I haven't gotten yet. I am a die hard AE fan, but the RC8 and the original shock towers and then the new way they released the .2 arms etc... really got me thinking if I should just switch over to Losi - (AE guys - it was just a thought)

Now 2 years later, I am curious how the new RC8.2 is doing in your opinion

Is the new layout working out as planned? Or has then been even more issues?

RC8.2 is the way to go IMO. I have driven pretty much every car out there except for the Mugen. I came from a Kyosho TKI2 WC and I can tell you they are very similar in handling.

No dont do it stick with the RC8 but get the RC8 B.2 in less you want to buy the upgraded kit parts .

Theres no such thing of a rc8b.2. You can buy a rc8b upgraded with the worlds kit but ae only offers an upgrade kit for a rc8b. You are better off buying an 8.2

You are going to have decide for yourself...notice the ae guys are going to say ae all the way...then i would say no losi all the way...see where i am going with this..
Go you the local track and see for yourself. that is the best advice your going to get.

AE +100.

The new car is really really good. I to have raced AE for many years whether it was my RC10 Graphite car (plus gold tub later), Touring, 1/12 and 1/8.

I have driven Mugen for many years and it's very good. I have not driven the US spec. I would buy one if I wasn't happy with AE. They make a fabulous buggy.

I might consider a losi again if they retool for all metric hardware.

If you only have two options i would say 8ight if you want more options put serpent onto the list. I came from the losi line solid car fast, durable, overall great performance i have a thing with Ae for me its not as durable great kit thou.

Default well

I would never buy a Losi. I am an old school Associated rc10 driver, and any self respecting associated fan wouldn't buy a losi...any scale any type..Tell me you don't know what I'm saying...

I have a Mugen, but I did drive a friends rc8.2 and it was really nice to drive when he let me run a tank. I don't see Mayfield and Cav having trouble wipping the snot outa anyone with the associated. Besides Losi is a hop skip and a JUMP haha, from making a new buggy if I had to guess. I say get the new RC8.2 it looks super pimp....and drives really good when tuned a little bit....Out of the box it had too much high speed steering, but a few tweaks will put it right on the money...
