Default Amain's Automatic Member Discount Program

Hey All,

I noticed this on Amain's website and I am curious who has qualified for this program?

I only ask as I was adding up my entire purchase history and it was alarmingly higher than I thought. Then it got me thinking how much further I had to go to get this discount!

Thanks,
Kane

I've never been notified of being a member of any discount club, but I do see members only pricing some times on items. I just went a looked though and couldn't find anything with members only pricing. I don't know if that's for all members or this club mentioned. I'll tell you what though, if I'm not a member of some special prices club they have I'll be pissed. I've been buying parts and cars for 3 different people on there for the last few years. It would be hard to find someone who spends more money on the stuff then my account. I would imagine I'm in the top percent of money spent on there in the last few years.

I actually just noticed that "member" price too when I was looking at motors. It was on only a few at a savings of approximately $5-$20.

I hear you though. My total is over $24,000 in under 3 years! I have to mellow out as Amain is only 1 of 4 places I buy most of my RC gear from!

Ok, nevermind. I might not be in the top percent of spenders. I'm probably not at 10k yet. You sir, should have partner ownership.

Are you guys counting just your Amain purchases or the hobby as a whole, with travel and all of that?

I wouldn't want to add up all of my other expenses!!! I am sure I have spent at least $15,000 at Stormer Hobbies not to mention other online retailers and local hobby shops. Don't get me thinking about travel too!!!

I would like to think I have calmed down a bit this year. I think before my wife had me on a budget this hobby was costing me over $20,000/year. I love her very much lol.

And travel? Oh geez.

It's bad enough I'm able to easily add up Amain's previous orders. This is an expensive hobby. I'm sure some can get away w/ spending less and having just as much fun, but it is all relative. At least, that is how I explain it to my wife.

Mine not so bad, from December to May, I've just spend $7,000 over so I'm still good and in control.

I did see member price here and there but didn't really take notice about this Member discount program.

Amain great, I love shopping with them and being an international buyer, I get the best discount on shipping. The only thing I've been trying to get Amain to change is the tokens we earn which only last for 90 days. I was hoping they can extend that to 1 year. At least we get to accumulate them and use them when we are making large purchases or when cash flow is tight and we just need that few parts to carry on

Doubt that will ever happen. It's a smart sales tactic.
