One of my 4 cell batts lost a cell during a start and 3 cells was not enough to start my car. My box is the ofna truggy box.

You could use two 2s in seriel connection.

Thanks. I probably just order another battery and call it a day. Dont have the connectors to run in series. I guess no practice this weekend.

I run a 4s lipo in my starterbox. 3s would be possible but 2s will be underpowered.

I've used a 3s to start my buggy and truggy, but traditionally I have a 4s in the box

I used a 3s for months. Just keep a full charge on it.

I suggest these

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Ah-Starter-Box

They are way lighter than full size 4s, and have lasted me a month of weekends on one charge. No real need for 5 or 6000 mah monsters.

I have 4s in my boxes and one of my batteries is loosing a cell. I figured something was up because it is usually strong enough to start a small block Chevy but this past weekend it was noticable weaker. On the charger, one of the cells peaked at 3.99v while the rest were between 4.19 and 4.21. Doesnt seem like much of a difference but it was huge in regard to the performance of the box.

Those are what you find in my boxes and are perfect unless you are starting more than 1 car on a box, then you need 3000 mah of higher.
