Question: HB D8/D8T Battery ?
 

My question is.
What batteries fit in the HB D8/D8T electronic tray?
Im looking for something that will fit nice and there will still be room for the wires.

go on the d8 thread or the d8t truggy thread and do a search. many post's asking the same thing. i think you will find it most helpful.

Robitronic 1500mah lipo fits in with no mods....or any 5cell hump pack Nimh pack.

they dont make the robitronic any longer, the reedy 1600 or 2100mah lipo pack fits if you remove the servo mount tab to install it and re install the servo mounting tab, just charge the lipo rx pack in battery box

Yeah sometimes you have to hunt, but the Robitronic LIPOs are still out there. eBay almost always has 1 or 2 if no RC places have them in stock ;-) I bought 2 last time...still have one new in the box just in case. WELL worth the $35 or $40 for them. I charge mine right in the box as well since the wire routing on the D8 always sucks to re-do.

Yeah I did the similar thing to my Buggy that Ty did to his. I had to notch out the cover, but it holds the wire firmly. I run the following Battery a back up:
