Default Whats the differnce....?

Losi 8ight chassis? Explain to me the differnce and which would be more durable in my case. I have seen the blue aluminum(I think), machined , I really dont know. We are just getting into this and have an 8ight chassis(my 12 year old) and a 2.0 chassis I bought off a guy that I think said he was sponsored by losi. When I got this chassis from him he was rattling so much info that I did not think to ask this question

We do alot of bashing around the yard, but also go to the local track to run. I just need a recomendation of a good chassis that will hold up for him, im a bit more careful so i want one to be more competitive
