Hey guys , im calling for your help

im trying to assemble a complete tool set to replace my Crappy dynamite quick changer screwdriver set that is bent to the core... (cheap)

I want to have most screwdrivers & nut driver possible that is needed in case of need for the race days


In the cheapest but best quality possible (i know its hard to put the 2 in the same sentence) ^^

This probably isn't the answer you want...but I would not skimp on tools, esp. hex drivers. Nutdrivers and screwdrivers, well, anything will work (I have the Dynamite nut drivers).

I bought a set of integy hex drivers a few years ago and spent about $25 on them. They are not terrible, but I had to replace the tips on them quite a few times. I think the tips were like 6 bucks a piece, so after replacing them a few times, it adds up. I also stripped the heads on quite a few screws, and had the pleasure of trying to cut a slot in them so I could use a screwdriver to get them out.

Last year I bought a set of MIP drivers ($60) and let me tell you...the difference is night and day. Haven't stripped a screw head yet.

I guess the point is..it's probably cheaper in the long run to get a decent set from the get go.

The protek stuff seems nice but I'm seriously considering replacing one of my Hudy sets with exceed. They come with a nice alum handle. They use the easy read stated with large and small rings, they come with an alum cap in the handle at no extra charge and they are less than 1/2 the price of the Hudy stuff ($9) I had a nova head screw driver that is exceed and I love it. after breaking many less expensive tools, or having them prematurely wear out.

I will only be buying Hudy or MIP stuff from now on. As my less expensive ones wear out I have been replacing them with Hudy tools.

I loved my MIP drivers and had them for many years, I just like the way the Hudy tools look hahaha

Ive always had good luck with EDS racing tools. The tips last a long time

So far I'm impressed with my vp-pro tools. They aren't expensive and very nice

I'm very pleased with my Losi tools.

The bits lock into the handle but you can swap them out in no time. They also work great in a drill.
