As we all know, the hyper 7 is no longer supported by the body companies. So I've spent the last day comparing dimensions on all the current buggies and their body's. What I have come up with is this:

hyper 7 body dimensions:
Length - 15"
width - 8 5/8"
height - 3 3/4"


Kyosho illuzion MP9 body dimensions:

Length - 15"
width - 8.5"
height - 5"


Dimension wise, they seems like it should fit. The real question I have is this:

WILL the MP9 body clear everything inside the body of a hyper 7?

I have searched for 3 days now and everything I see says to use a hyper 8 body, which are also extinct. So what it comes down to is, what is the next body to graph onto the hyper 7 frame.

I would hate to sell my buggy after all this time due to not being able to fit a body....
