Default losi rtr buggy into race roller?

Long story short.... I traded a sc for a "race roller" that turned out to be a rtr. Im a associated guy looking to try out a losi so I'm not a complete newb but am new to losi. Looking for help turning this thing into a racer and need some pointers on what I need to update it. Not looking for a parts list just some direction. It has 2 piece shock caps but are they the same big bore bodies? Things like that. Thanks for any info. I know I need the new servo tray so I can knock that off the list.

i assume you have the blue chassis and towers. i would start with the tlr hinge pin braces. seen the rtr be preety weak. get an aluminum top plate.
the race chassis or bce chassis will handle better. have seen the rtr shock towers bend.

i'm saying the shock body is all plastic. Looks like the hinge pin braces are all upgraded. They're thicker gold.

The hinge pins on the race roller aren't the gold coated nor it comes with aluminum hinge pin braces those are upgrades even to the race roller if im correct. If the hinge pins and shock shafts are gold there upgraded to nitride/titanium. The shocks should have aluminum lower caps but rtr has plastic top caps if im correct i know the race rollers are full aluminum. For the most part as far as price goes you have the race roller in about another $30 more bucks.

Dude there's no way. I had to stop tearing this thing down cause everything it stripped. Think he dipped it in thread lock. Needless to say i made a bad deal. On that note does anybody know how to get stripped wheel hex screws out? I'll post pics after I finish this here 6'er and leave him my review.

See all plastic shocks. There's 100 right there. And I don't think that comes with springs

I do believe it's the racer chassis and towers. You should of seen the springs. They were longer then the whole shock assembly when I took em off

to make this a raceroller now is the get the shocks and the metal shock caps. The raceroller out of the box has the black chassis and tower along with the gold shock shafts and hingepins, and the aluminum shock caps.i think that is it if im correct.

ok this is the guy that traded him it is a true race roller i hit the metal pin that holds down the pipes on the track and broke the shock bodys so i put some old shocks form a mugen on it there was nothing wrong with them but thats the only part that is not a race roller on it sorry if you think you had a bad trade but do rate me bad for it not my fault you did the wrong trade and for the fuel i did leave in the tank sorry i wanted to make sure it ran before i shipped and was in a hurry to get it shipped here is a link to buy some new shocks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-THR...1#ht_500wt_969 but don't for get yours was not perfect ether the rear shock tower was cracked and it was strc and the front cvd,s where bent that's 25 for the shock tower and 31 for the cvd,s it wasn't perfect and i still gave you a good rating because i liked the trade still i replaced the shock tower and cvd,s already so the if you want the shocks that's on you but plez think of re-rating me i did nothing bad or wrong

If he advertised it as a race roller than he should have said that he replaced the shocks. How were you supposed to know he did that? He absolutly did something wrong and I would leave bad feedback if I was you! When I make a deal online I want to be able to feel confidant in what I'm buying. This guy left out the fact that a 100$ part was missing. I'm sure that knowlage would have changed your mind in doing a trade with him. I feel sorry for ya man, I'd leave him some real negative sh!t. Good luck brotha

Well towers are race roller, chassis race roller, hinge pin braces upgraded, servo saver upgraded. SHOCKs are no good non losi. Get some losi shocks and chenge out the stripped screws and you may be able to come out with some what of a positive trade. If im correct remember losi is standard so you can be stripping the screws by using metric.... Can't remember for sure.
