Are the 2 and 3-stripe progressives available in the US yet?

FTW body fits better than stock, has more room, and is WAY more durable. Can't go wrong with an FTW product.

Does anyone know where you can find or has a link to Josh Wheelers setup at the 2012 roar nationals?
Cheers

Nice body shell and sweet paint! Did you paint it yourself?

Thanks, I can't take credit for the paint though. That goes to Daniel at DGP. He does some great work!

Those are Serpents square machined (flat) pistons which are only available in 8-hole and they will work.

However, I think the preferred Serpent pistons are these tapered/conical machined versions which are available in 6, 8 and 10-hole and typically installed with the tapered side facing down.

When I talked to Mike, he was saying it was going to start this Thursday. They are rebuilding the inside track at the same time so they are going to split the tractor between the two tracks. I think they have it from Thursday AM to Monday. From what he said, the outdoor track is going to keep the same lanes, but most of the jumps will change. The ones that don't change will get re-faced. Should be good!

We're getting a few loads of fresh dirt tomorrow and received two today. The rebuild starts Thursday and the track will open for practice the 19th I believe.

Default shock piston diameters

This is how a few of the shock pistons measure up that work in the XB9.

I've run the XRAY and the Serpent pistons but I am just now building a set of shocks with the Kyosho 1.3 x 8 tapered pistons.

XRAY XB9 shock pistons diameter is 15.80mm - just a little too loose IMO

Serpent 8-hole tapered diameter is 15.95mm - just a little too tight IMO

Kyosho 8-hole tapered diameter is 15.85mm - just about right??... I hope

The 19th? I didn't think open practice was until Friday the 20th?

You're correct. I thought the 19th was Friday for some reason.

I agree, I do still run the Serpent ones since I put the car together and they are really good.

I tried the Kyosho, they are good too but I still prefer the Serpent

Anyone try the kyosho 6-1.3 tapers? Wanting more pack than the 8-1.3s.

I have fioroni dual stage pistons and they are awesome on smooth indoor tracks but I think they pack up too much outdoors.
