Default HB D8T shaft or outdrive????

hey ive got a issue going on with my modded setup and was wondering if anyone knows of a aftermarket drive shaft (kyosho xray ect...) that may be a little longer than the stock 131mm hb shaft or maybe a 2-3mm longer outdrive that will fit in the hb diff case with no problems? im running the mugen rear shocks on my d8t and love the travel and droop it gives me but im right on the edge with this.....ran 2 races and had shaft pop out due to it being way to close on the edge of the outdrive.....just wondering if any of you guys are doing this and have a idea for a fix...thanks

You could try these Losi 8T 2.0 drive shafts.

I believe they are a tad bit longer than the D8T drive shafts but don't quote me on that. I do know they will couple with the HB axles. I run a losi 8t rear center drive shaft on my Hara D8 because it's more heavy duty than the HB shaft and the losi drive pins/set screws are stronger. They fit right into these HB units... http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Shaft-Coupler

Losi 2.0 shafts measure 143mm from pin center to pin center. D8t measure around 133. The reason for the difference is the outer pin being captured by hub bearing on the 2.0 hence a longer shaft. I will scope out the out drives for you.

Maybe try Xray outdrives. I know they have a longer outdrive for the XT8 for the front diff. Has about 3mm extra to it.
