Default Custom fitting a larger engine to my buggy!

Hi, I'm determined to fit a larger engine into my nitro buggy. One thing i want to know if anyone has had trouble before with other components not coping e.g diffs, gearbox .

It's a 1/8 scale GV Cage which has a different style chassis than most buggys. I'll post some pics soon.

It previously had a .32 but I have a Force .46 pullstart for airplanes and 1/6 buggys that I want to fit. I can't find any engine mounts specifically for this engine and am now making designs to fabricate my own. I may also have to alter the chasis to allow a little more room for the mountings or it will be too close to the rear axle.
What materials should I use? Aluminium, steel?
Can I install some sort of shock absorbing mounts that will handle the heat? ( I jump Alot).

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!
