Worth getting and trying then? I wanted City Blocks but they are sold out everywhere now it seems. Found a good deal on these, and I need to replace my rtr's tires bad.

Yes they are worth trying. If you are wanting a city block type tire then try losi green digits. very safe tire. I run these allot.

Well my local track is hardpack with loose stuff off line, would the reptile be a suitable choice? All I know is the 8ight rtr's tires don't really hook up so good.

Yes they should be good. A lot better than the rtr tires.
