Default Which other buggy shells fit Hyper 7?!!!

I've got a Hyper 7 PBS that's practically brand new but is in need of another body, yet it seems that other then the BORING std shell, there aren't any options.

Does anyone know of another buggy shell that'll fit. I know alot of people say to go by measurements, but the dimensions are always overall buggy dimensions which doesn't tell me how long/wide/high the shell is.

Surely with them having been around for so long and with so many Hyper 7's out there, someone just knows if say a MP777 or a D8 or something like that will fit???

Somebody…..anybody

When you say Hyper 8 do you mean a genuine shell or do aftermarket Hyper 8 shells fit like JConcepts or Pro-Line?
Would like a clear uncut shell

Are they good to go on the Hyper 7?

I think if you want a critical change, you can try the Associated Bulldog Proline body and work it in it should be wide enough to wrap around the stone guards, you just have to make new body post holes, engine opening, fuel window and steering clearance. Just make sure you mapout and cut the body and size everthing thing up before painting. I did a Mugen MBX6 onto my X1 CR and did the cut and sizing before painting.

Check it out.

Let me see. On the other thread, you said you used a Mugen MBX shell, wanted to try a HB D8 body and then suggested the Associated shell. So which one is wider. Do all of them require cutting/replacing the mudguards?

Since the H7 is wide, I would go with the AE, their stone guards are wide. Some people I know also use the AE body on their Kyoshos because fit is good with stone guards on it. The Jammin car is narrower than the 7 was.

For what ever it's worth, I put a Jammin body on a Hyper8 and it fit perfect. Front end had to be cut different and the roof was slightly lower, same width. I don't know if there is a width difference between the Hyper7 and Hyper8, just saying.

I was in a major change for the Jammin and some handling, so trying the Bulldog made a difference. So I would think Bulldog and Punisher would make the 7 a sweeter looking buggy to drive, more like a new found love for it. I just tried to put our LX-2 body on an H8 and it was close to fitting and it looked cool. If I was looking for a new change in my buggy that's were i would head to the cab foward bodies.
