Default Need help - Truggy Driveshaft lengths

Hi everyone,

I am working on a project where I require a driveshaft of approx 120mm - 126mm in length and I am hoping some people might be able to measure the length of their front or rear driveshafts and let me know the lengths of different brands. I figure truggies will be the only cars with long enough driveshafts for this and the axles I have are from a 1/8th buggy.

Hotbodies lists theirs as 131mm but they are the only brand I can find that advertise the length.

Please help. I need the length of the bone itself and if possible, the diameter of the cv ball end. Here is a picture of the part im specifically talking about just in case anyone is confused.

Thanks heaps in advance

Is your required length from the very ends of the shaft, or from the center of the pin to the center of the hole on the other end?

Check out the ones from the xray xt8 08 spec. I just measured one from end to end and they measure 126. 26mm. I have changed my 08 to an 09 chassis and have a bunch of them just lying here. Pm me if interested

The rear centre shafts is 127mm, and front and rear CVD are 142mm according to what's etched on the shaft for Serpent 811-T
