Default restoring foams

I made the mistake of leaving a pair of New in package PL evo foams in the trunk of my car for 4 days in 90+ degree heat (I forgot about them). After opening the bags I realize the foams deformed and "went dead" does anyone know of a way to restore them? Back in the day I used to heat up the cheap old foam used in 10th scale racing does these method work on the new foams? It seems counterintuitive since that's how the foams got screwed up in the first place!

Just a guess here but I would try steaming them to see if the moisture would bring them back.
