the S-2 Pro is a very solid car...i still have ALOT of parts from when i was running the ORIGINAL S-2 Pro back in '04....the only draw backs i ever saw were 1.) this buggy is HEAVY!!! 2.) always has alot of slop in the front end due to the piviot ball suspension, making your setup very unprodictable. 3.) get some big bore shocks, the stock ones aren't the greatest. 4.) battery location leaves the battery un-protected from the dirt, mud, or a side collision.

on the up-side tho 1.) it's built like a TANK!!! 2.) EXTREMELY easy to work on. 3.) good starting price. 4.) excellent place to start if your looking to get into racing 1/8 buggy.....and the list goes on and on...
Sometimes you gotta go back to come back...

I would reccomend any Thunder Tiger product especially their buggy and truggy. Very good rc's for the same reasons stated above.

Buy the best you can afford even if you have to wait a little longer is all I can say. Don't know much about that buggy but just getting started myself I spent a little more and got good quality so I knew I wasn't going to be breaking parts all of the time.
