i am just curios why you are adding so much to this topic when your driving a losi copy..the truggy body has to be the dumbest thing i have ever seen and the linkage system is hoorible.i would start selling those now while you can still get $100 ea and wait for the release of a real rc car..atleast associated is putting all of its effort into making a great car..the weight is probably one of the things that makes the car so good..enjoy your snakes..haha

Howdy all my fellow RC8 drivers. I was telling one of my race buddies a couple of weeks ago that I thought AE would be putting out a new buggy that you could buy with all the new upgrades already on it and sure enough its coming out in september lol. Im glad Ive delayed buying all the upgrades for I'm just gonna wait till september for the new buggy to drop and buy one. I makes no sence for me to spend all that money now to upgrade when I can just buy a brand new buggy that will already have all the new latest and greatest things.

From appearance alone obviously it looks as though the new 8.2 differs from the update kit. In the update they call for longer shock eyelets to gain the droop needed. This kit appears to have stock length, which means they shortened the towers for the new kit. Also not only are the arms not remachined old ones. The uppers look to have been redesigned and look much nicer then the older versions also included in the upgrade. Notice anything else?

This is just another prime example of why I'm going to wait for the new buggy to come out instead of spending all the money on upgrading my current rc8b

They sure issued a good price point on this buggy. That's good.
Most make a change and up the price. Kudos to Associated.

Only time will tell on the towers I guess, but it would make sense to have the towers be lower, and do away with the eyelets. Maybe they just decided its too much with the eyelets. I do think the added droop helps, but the full amount with eyelets is probably a little excessive.
