gonna try it electrified first, currently running the losi 2.0 and have no complaints at all just wanting to try something new.

thanks
In my opinion, everything out of the box works. I just prefer the King Headz motor mount because of the mesh being no hastle, and the servo horns I prefer aluminum opposed to plastic.

Electric, I went with the Tekno V4 chassis on my RC8T. I am very happy with that setup. Haven't done the homework on the RC8.2 conversion yet.....dang thats another $1500......LOL

I was wondering how they came up with 106. I saw that it was setting on the arm and not the droop screw on my buggy as well, I just haven't had time to dremel the arm yet. You should be able get the full 106 by converting to the old droop screw and unscrewing the shock end a few turns.

And the wheels will turn in opposite directions if there's enough clearance. That should be RAD!

I picked my 8.2 up yesterday and will start building today when I get off work. I've been reading the issues you guys have encountered during your builds. I guess I'll deal with these issues once I encounter them.

Buggy looks good, cant wait to start the build on mine. I see RM and some others using the stock plastic horns, any issues with this? I have used the stock horns from other kits before only to strip them .

I've used them for 3+ years, and never had a problem. You should be set!

I currently run the Serpent and it's a great car, very reliable, very high quality. I'm switching to the 8.2 currently. Both great cars! Although I will say the parts and parts availability for the AE are a lot easier to deal with.

+1 the servo horns are great. I have had the same servo throttle horn on my buggy for 2 years. Associated makes the best stock servo horns. I buy them and I dont even run associated lol
