Default Associated RC8.2 Electric Conversion!

I see that associated is coming up with and upgraded version of the RC8B, the RC8.2. Thay have added a lot to it and it sounds sweet, but what im wondering is do you think that the old conversion kit will fit? I imagine it would but i just wanna make sure because i was looking into getting one when they come out. Just wondering what everyone thinks about the new buggy!

What's new about this kit? Is this new kit just with all the new upgrades?

For the most part, this is what it appears to be.

Better off buying all the upgrade parts instead. Unless you have money to burn that is.

Well it has more changes than any other upgrade in the last 5 years, and it does come with some of the worlds lightened stuff, and a longer chassis.
That means that at only $520usd (Tower Hobbies) it would be cheaper to buy the kit than the upgrades.

As for would the conversion kit fit it should since it is longer but not narrower.

The real question should be when will they come out with the RC8.2E? I'd buy that.

+1 on that! Looking at the pic of the new Front Arms though, I really hope the the Swaybar retainer and eyelets were moved further back... this would help avoid the front CVAs from bending as the previous geometry had the CVAs way too close to the them. A bit hard to tell from the pic but maybe Rick or someone from AE lurking around RCTech can shed some light on it...

Current e-conversion will work just fine on the 8.2. Im sure the electric kit will follow the release of this one.
