no you have to see to it that the bars still move a little, the movement does not do that much harm
you could slide a piece of fuel tube onto the bar or find some secured collars

on your droop settings it will depend on the tracks your running on. If your on a bumpy track I like to use equal down travel to up travel from your static sag position.. or how it sits on the bench. If your running on a smoother track limit your droop in 2mm increments one end at a time , the front first then the rear. this will alter how much the car rolls and can help you corner faster.

as for the soft feel of the suspension.. which holes on front tower and arm are you using? swaybar? you should be able to drop your car from about 1 foot off the ground and have it land soft without slapping the chassis on ground. if not go to a thicker oil.. go up 5 wt at a time till you get to where it feels good. ride height should be arms level front and bones level back.. although I do run my back set between bones and arms level in back on some tracks.

hope that helps..

on my evo II I have found my new fav. way to set up car is with the 2014 evo front tower and a set of the rear bbs shocks for the front . it sets the towers at the same height and makes the car work even better everywhere. its funny because i noticed the new assoc. 8.3 front looks a lot like that.. and now kyosho is doing it too. I have been running it like this for about 4 months now and it works amazing.

SWX-330508C rear shock tower
SWX-2501094BH bbs rear arms
SWX-2501093BH bbs front arms
SWX-210057 bbs rear x2 ..... and what ever springs you want to order.
this is how i placed my order to do the setup that rickster mentioned .... btw i have an evo not a evo 2 like he mentioned so if you have an evo2 then i take it you just order an evo front shock tower SWX-330414 and an extra set of bbs rears .......

Ok guys i would really need help from the experts. I have the 2012 bk1 (without psp), my set up is: 7-7-2 (will also try 7-10-2), black sway bar, red spings in front/ silver sway bar, black springs, 3.0-0.0 rear lower arm for the back. Shock position: front upper arm all the way in, front lower arm all the way out-Rear both upper and lowere arm all they way out holes.
My car feels a little tail happy when exiting a turn and sometimes struggle to bring it on a straight line .. when i race in a track with tight turns and a lot of jumps i sometimes lose a jump cause i havent managed to straighten the car after a turn.
Other than that the car runs well with no issues..
Thanks again.

Sorry for my english, not very good cause its not my native language...
