YES will work just fine, you may have to trim a little the rear end.

yeah ..i did it..and been racng the new body style.. love the look..just but the new front mounts on then.. i took the rear shock tower off and drilled on hole in the middle for the rear mount...i bought the rtr 2.0 body for mine at first..so i had to long gate the front holes in te body alittle..then trm up the back of the body. to fit. then drillone more hole in the back for that mount...i think i still have pic..if i do i'll post um..
