If in doubt, get one, it'll save your engine.

There is already a fuel filter inside the tank. Up to you if you want to add an external fuel filter

Default Filters

So many to choose from. You can pick up a really nice Kyosho one in the parted out mp9 sections on ebay, it comes with the mount and just drill a small hole in the splash guard and put a small screw and 3mm nut on it and it will help hold the fuel line and add a tiny ammount of capacity if not to filter the fuel, and OFNA makes an inexpensive one too that is nice, just make sure it comes with a holder whatever brand you get....The racers edge one is really nice but no mount, that's dumb....
