Default Its good to be back!

I haven't raced rc for years. I am real excited! I dont want to sound like a total noob but I'm going to need a bunch of help. I picked up an old 8T truggy. it doesn't look like its in to bad of shape. This weekend I'll be tearing into it, and going threw it with a fine tooth comb. Any and all advice or tips are welcome load me up.

Save me the wise a$$ comments.

Im going in a liitle blind with the 1/8 scale. Almost all my experiance is with 1/10th scale electric. I do have an old rc10t gas team truck. I was able to kick a little a$$ with it back in the day. So i guess im not totaly un familiar with nitro. But, don't assume i'll know anything. Ya know what i mean?
