Yes Macnkitty, i've been using ballons for almost 2 years on all my shocks, i find them way better than "X" brand specific shock boots.

If you ask me, the minimum is: shock towers (4mm is enough), chasis rigidifiers (front, center Z and rear) and blue (medium) springs.

You'll also notice a big improvement with 13mm shocks....and a huge improvement with "big-mama" 16mm's. You could also get the front CNC steering knuckles...it all depends on how much you want to spend....

Some of us just go for a pro or x1x kit and save the old RTR for spares...

Raced my CRT today for the first time. Heck started it for the first time at midnite last nite. And first time driving a nitro car in 3+ years. And very first time ever racing one.

Loved it.

I have ALOT to learn but it was a good time. Hoping to do it again in the next couple weeks.

Hi guys!!! Just a quick one to see if you can remind me what the different holes in the steering (Ackermann) bar do...

I know it has something to do with more low speed turning or something....

what happens if I connect the steering links to the most forward holes (shorter bar) or the rear holes (longer bar)? What are the drawbacks?

Thanks in advance....

I found this on ofna forums.

The front hole will provide the least amount, good for open large sweeping tracks.

The middle hole is right in-between
