Default losi chassis question

would running an 8ight 1.0 TFT chassis on an 8ight 2.0e race roller make much of a difference? i know the 2.0 chassis what like 2 or 5 mm longer is that really gonna make a big difference? other than that what is the difference in the chassis? I know i can get a nip 1.1 TFT for like 20-25 and a 2.0 TFT for like 60-80 so that why I ask is the difference worth the money?

all you need to do is replace the rear center driveshaft with a 1.0, thats it!

That's cool. Will it hurt performance though enough to justify the extra money?

The center rear drive shaft does fit. In fact i was able to remove the aluminum rear chassis brace due to it being longer. The longer shaft didn't let it pop out of the center diff out drive. Which was a problem and hence the aluminum brace. So run the plastic chassis bace and let her flex. I could also feel the difference.

The TFT 1.0 is a great chasis, very nimb and handle just fine. Just get the rear Driveshaft from a 1.0 and kick some butts.

Yes Ok.

Bud

Why do you want to go backwards, you have a 2.0 but want a 1.0 chassis to save a few bucks..... By the time you get the other part there is your 2.0 chassis......AND Its a HUGE difference in performance between the different length chassis. SMH

You can find them all over Ebay for good deals.
