Yes I heard it was very unreliable is that true... Also heard the money you save you will spend fixing it .. (i think ive heard soft plastic and bad drive train) any truth?

the old ones yes but the new ones NO! they are way more durable than i thought. i ran a used old one (the first batch) with the original axils and i didnt have a problem except in one of my mains, i forgot to set the droop and the axil popped out and twisted. but other than that i had no problems. the new ones are solid. i have a truggy and beat the snot out of it to find a weak point and havent found one yet. only thing is you have to take the servo saver apart after a race day and clean the dirt out to reduce wear and you wont have to replace anything for a long time.

if you get the D8 kit order the aluminum servo horn for steering, the plastic ones strip pretty easy but they do work. my friend runs the plastic one on buggy and truggy with no problems.

In that price range nothing can touch it. the D8 is a proven performer....Most of the time breaking parts is due to poor maintanance, assembly, or neglect, not the car. and there is the occasional driver error too haha...I'm suprised these cars stay together as good as they do. Also the parts are inexpensive for the D8. If you shop around you could get plenty of spare parts for your ride, and feel pretty good about any issues that pop up reguardless of the brand or price. Drive on man.

nothing beats the performance and price of this WC car.

Issues are mainly the first batch...............honestly they did a lousy job for the production car after their first historic win.

They improves and it is better now. Those who still said it is not reliable. It's just driving, they way you fix it up, maintain.................

great car and have no complains even i bought the first batch earlier. it's just wear and tear. change the parts dude.................for those having problems.

The D8 is hard to beat i drove my first D8 for a year in a half i just did the maintance on it and it never give me much problems and i only broke 1 rear hub and it was 35 out side and i now have the truggy and it is just as good i dont have no where near the problems people said and now alot of people are drive the Hb cars they are very good i have drove losi,mugen,associated and xray and i like the HB over the rest maybe it just fits my driving style but they are good.

I sold my RC8B to get a D8 and never looked back. I'm very happy with the way it performs and (knock on wood) no breakage issues at all.
