Default Truggy Tire Question

I'm new to truggys and was wondering about wheel and tire offset. What is offset, is it a tuning tool or something completely different? VTR vs LPR wheels and tires? BTW I'm running a Losi 8ight-T 2.0 if that makes a difference.

Offset is not a tool. Its the depth of the mounting hole in the wheel.
1/2 offset is old. Making the car alittle wider.
zero/standard offset is what you need.

VTR - 4"
LPR - 3.7"

VTRs are good, but becareful as they are NOT R.O.A.R approved and can not be ran at R.O.A.R events.

You need a 3.7 to comply. If its not a ROAR event, then the VTRs would be choice.

All make good truggy tires.

Token is absolutely correct...stay with a 3.7" wheel and you'll be safe. Also consider tires from Sweep USA...Excellent compounds that wear and last a very long time PLUS they are priced right! Check them out at http://www.sweepracingusa.com
