I also had the losi box. Worked well but was nothing special. I hated breaking new motor in on that box. I listened to what most people on here said and went with a new OFNA truggy starter box. The blue one with dual motors. Wish I had sooner. Great box. Yes it's not as convenient as the losi box for truggy and buggy starting, but the performance smokes the losi box.

If you're a little handy you could move the adjustable parts from the losi box to a new OFNa truggy box. Best of both worlds.

I got the ofna box more then 2 years ago. Not had one single problem. Kind of like buying hitec servos, you forget there even there. Just about zero maintenance, flywheel is about worn down though.

They're not the Ofna truggy box but definately look good for 45 bucks. Twin 775's, how could you go wrong. Nice find

I have done it and it works nicely but it takes some patience and a lot of time.
Here's what's necessary.

I've had great luck with the OFN10245 box. Smaller and cheaper than the Blue Ofna truggy box, but it will kick over some serious engines.

I'm only using 2 cheap Venom NiMH batteries. Probably would start a Harley on 4C LiPo.

The ofna blue truggy is the best, and has been for years.
