Wow, thanks for the offer, I will see if I can get one from someone around here, but If not I would be happy to throw in a couple plates for the usage of the chassis I will keep you posted.

Thanks guys,
Lance

just a curious if something would be possible. Adam Drake and the losi guys were running really thin steel plates at the worlds. How difficult would it be to have a 1mm steel skid. The reason I ask is sometimes if the track is too soft the skids in general dig in and throw the car funny, and a thin plate would help eliminate that without killing the chassis.

With only 1mm there is not even enough material to counter the screw holes. Plus the weight of 1mm steel plate would be more weight than most would want to put on there car. I think that was more of an emergency measure they took with those.

BUt if running on a super soft "fluffy track" then running no skid is probrably the best choice. And usually dirt like that doesnt wear the chassis as much as harder , rocky abrasive dirt which most tracks are made of.

Thankf for the remarks its always good to toss around new ideas

Thanks,
Lance

A+ SKIDS 100% NO HASSLE FITTING. LINE UP PERFECT AND ARE LIGHT WEIGHT. BEST PART IS THEY DONT PINCH LIKE PLASTIC SKIDS CAUSING DIRT BUILD UP UNDER THE SKID PLATE. Here is a picture installed on a Mugen MBX6 buggy.

Are you guys going to be making a front skid for the Losi 8T 2.0 anytime soon? Im in bad need for a complete set and im sick and tired of having to use the DERacing stuff, their stuff only lasts 2 race days if im lucky!

So far we only offer rear skids. We possibly may make front ones in the future but not sure yet.

Thanks,
Lance
