If you click on the engine it will take you to another page and show you a different price which is $289.99.

I know it's a killer engine. I have had 3 since they came out. It's the only engine I run now. I was bolting it in today and was thinking "I wish they made it in a Pro version with a black case" then I come on here and Bang, there it is.

same thing happened to me.

no offense, but the original b5 cooling head has got to be one of the ugliest i have ever seen. The new one looks bad ass though.

It should be a no-brainer now. I will say, i was expecting alot when i got mine from all the great things i have heard about the "quality" of the werks motors.

That being said, i was still amazed at the quality and detail of this motor.

I wonder if the new heat insulator will be included on the regular $200 version? I also wonder if that will help these motors idle better. Never had much luck after about a gallon of fuel tuning it to where it would idle right. Just had to stay on the gas. Just about every other werks motor i encountered at the track had the same issue. Not bashing just wondering...still a great $200 motor.

I don't know if i have what you are talking about, but mine is a all aluminum carb with a white insulator on it. Looks just like the one on the o.s. carbs but white instead of clear.

Hopefully these new and improved engines will withstand the test of time. I race with a few guys that use to run werks and they go through 2-3 engines to my 1. I have never ran a werks engine so I only know what I see happen. They are much more visually appealing than the previous versions.
