What tire and wheels are R.O.A.R approved for truggy?
i need to know so i dont go out and stock up on sets of wheels and tires that i cant run at the nats in june:lol:

There isn't an approved list it has to fall in this:

Wheels:
Mounting Bead Diameter Maximum 95.25mm
Mounted Width Minimum 55.88mm
Overall Diameter Maximum 101.6mm

Tires:
Diameter Minimum 137.16mm
Width Minimum 60.33mm

9.4.4.6 Tire Rules:

9.4.4.6.1 No tires created for other vehicle types even if they meet the specifications will be
allowed.

9.4.4.6.2 Cutting or modifying the tread is allowed. Modifying the tire carcass is prohibited. Trimming the mounting bead of a tire in order to fit a legal rim is allowed. Cutting tires from same class to fit wheels of same is not allowed, regardless if it fits minimum tire dimensions. Cutting tires from one class to another class is not allowed regardless of dimensions.

9.4.4.6.3 All tire measurements reference the carcass dimensions and do not include the tread depth or width. LP tires are referenced for the minimum 1/8 Truck size and measure the absolute minimal diameter allowable in the 1/8 Truck class.

i think the only ones that are not are Pro-line VTR but dont quote me on this, i remember seeing or hearing it but i could of been seeing and hearing wrong info :lol:

If you get HB, AKA, TL, JConcepts tires and wheels they will be legal. The PL VTR tires are legal as far as I know, but the PL VTR wheel isn't legal. The PL VTR tires can only be used with the PL VTR wheels, uses 1/8 buggy style bead which doesn't mount to the 'traditional' truggy style wheel beads.
