There's no 'best' anything in RC. Just view all of the opinions that WILL be posted, add in your own 'research' and make your choice from there.

Rc8t is a solid reliable fast truck. No stupid weird issues.. and don't need $100 plus of another manufacturers parts to bring it to race level.. Lots of support at most hobby shops and on here as well. See what your local guys are running and what your lhs keeps parts for. You have mp9s in your sig.. why not a kyosho truck?

When I was looking for mine the Losi 8T 2.0 was by far the most used in my area...I think mainly due to distribution...we have a lost of Losi being stocked locally duer to a large distibutor nearby.

The RC8T was the most highly recommended but parts locally were a little less common. But when the local track raced 1/8 the RC8T was the truck of choice by far...not the 1/8 scale nito has died out....I race mine in the Monster Truck class just to get some drive time.

The Hot Bodies D8T was the most economical to buy and seems very raceable but no one in my area stocked them....that was honestly what I was going to get until I got my RC8T on a great deal.

In the end I got my RC8T for almost nothing and so far it has treated me well...I do not race competively, just for fun.

Here is my long winded conclusion

HB D8T wins on value

AE RC8T wins on recommendations from others (I love mine)

Losi 8T 2.0 wins part availability (in my area)

Good Luck

There can only be one,Mugen MBX6T. Why? It kicks ass and is almost unbreakable. Very solid and fast. If you bring your part the MBX6T will bring his.

BA your going to get buy this truggy because of this or because that. What you need to do is next time your at the track see if a few friends or people you know will let you drive their truggy and see how they feel and which one best fits your driving style as well. Look and see what most of the drives are running. The reason for this is because if your racing and something breaks you have a lot better chance finding the part that you need so you dont have to cut your race day short. Also check you local hobby shops and see what they carry the most parts for. With that being said your top 3 truggys sold will prob be Mugen, Xray and Losi. Beat of luck

like, i said to others if you want a truggy that has a lot of tuning extras and the upgrades on it already and comes with some nice tires get the rc8t ce.

but, like others say if nobody runs the rc8t at your track than go with something else that people run at your track.

Buy whatever wins the worlds because that's clearly the best truggy and winning has nothing to do with the guy with the transmitter in his hand

I think we will be waiting along time for a truggy to win the Ifmar Buggy World Championship.
