i have a starter box with a built in glow plug panel.. for some reason today i have plugged in 3 glow plugs and they blew straight away..anyone know what the output voltage should be? or can someone test theirs with a multimeter.. mine tests a 11v shouldnt it be something like 1.5?
cheers!

No it's fine...while it shoes 11v the current draw is very very low.
What could be wrong though is the adjustment screw...could be set too high.
If there is one try turning it to (-).

You might be plugging it in to the wrong outputs. Mine has plugs to charge the battery too, if you're plugging the ignitor into those you are sending full battery power to the glow plug... And POOF goes the glow plug.
