Default Jammin X1 CRT NEWB question

So most of my stuff should be in by the end of the week, and now that I got the meat and potatoes of the build I am focusing on details.

Details, Details.

I have the Pro and I was talking to a friend with the RTR, and he told me that his flywheel was too small in diameter to make contact with the bumpstart wheel.
Not really a big deal for him with a roto converted Picco, But a big deal for me being bumpstart only Picco.

I know this question is super specific, but, what size flywheel do i need on a Jammin X1 CRT PRO with stock motor mounts?

I didnt even know there where different sizes, or that it mattered. What size flywheels are out there 1/8?

Thanks guys.

It's not the flywheel, it's the engine mounts that are too tall on the RTR cars. They need to be for the pullstart/rotostart backplate to clear the chassis. You're getting the Pro car so you can use a bump box with no problem.

I just checked, and your right, the pro has lower engine mounts. They do look similar tho.

But are there different size flywheels?I saw a 34 and a 32mm, how do you know what chassis takes what size flywheel?

34mm, with the Pro engine mounts. I never tried
any flywheels smaller in dia. than that.

You'll have to use a 8ight clutch bell as well. Can't be 100% sure though, don't have much experience besides Losi.

yeah im reading that the losi clutch bells are specific to there clutch systems, which sucks when you have a selection of different standard bells.

So whats the deal with other 4 shoe systems? Are they specific to there bells or is it just a losi thing?

And whats the size of the losi flywheel?

Just a losi thing, if you want to use a four shoe clutch try the Ascendancy clutch. I used their shoes on my 8-T and they plain and simple rocked. Great engagement and long life.
