PT RC Shock and Diff oil

PT RC Shock and Diff oil
I see that Lutz is using PT RC oils now, and I like that it comes in larger size bottles. Does anyone know how it compares to Losi and Associated oils? Specifically AE 30 and Losi 30.

Mr PTRC is a super nice guy form the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He uses only top notch silicon. A number of us only use his oils now. The bottles come in a larger container then most so therefore is a plus for us 1/8th scale guys
He also make a number of different viscosities allow the racer more options.
Thanks, Ron

PT RC Oils are awesome. You can read why I run them on my website www.lutzinator.com under the "my equipment" tab!
I've been using them for over a year now.

Yes PT Racing oils is very good stuff. When the oils first hit the scene in our area there were a lot of people asking about accuracy and how it compared to losi and associated oils. I choose to run cts oils, I received a few bottles of the PT oils in all my preferred viscosity's and went to the track to put them to the test. I tested the PT oils vs Mugen oils on the clock at my local track and there was not one difference. The exact same feel and performance. The nice part is the savings due to the cost and the oversize bottles. This is a necessity with the big bore style shocks on the market, I mean a set of long big bores can almost eat a half of bottle of shock oil and when you are trying to dial a car in this can get expensive. Something else worth mentioning is the custom viscosity's. Pt can blend what ever shock or diff oils you want. A very good tuning option if one was seeking a diff oil such as 8000cts, 12,0000cts, or 375cts or 425cts for there shocks. I dont think I have seen anyone else out in the market that offers these custom blends. The oils are accurate, priced right, and the custom blends are nice. Give them a try.

Great oils! From it's inception, CONSISTENCY has been the number one goal of PTRC Racing oils. I know this from my personal relationship with PT during the start-up of the company. While using the most popular brands available, it seemed like there was always someone at the track saying that they changed oil viscosity in their shocks only to find either no difference or a drastic difference. It was a puzzling occurrence, and many other racers had been experiencing what they thought were those same mixed results. High quality silicone and persistent quality control of PTRC Racing Oils has eliminated this for those racers and given them more confidence in their setup setup changes. Therefore, knowing the high quality of the silicone used will always remain constant, ensured me that the viscosity will never vary. I will not use anything else! Keep up the good work PT!

I've just started using their diff oils recently because of the greater gradation (and the prices!) compared to other brands. I ordered direct from Pablo and he was super easy to work with and even sent me a freebie to try out. I ended up buying 12 bottles of diff oil from him and don't anticipate it'll last me a long time. I say go for it. Their shock bottle are absolutely mammoth compared to most.
