8ight Truggy - must have upgrades

Hey guys! I'm looking to get into some nitro truggy racing this summer and i just bought me my first truggy...with that being said...what seems to be the must have upgrade for the avid racer for the 8ight truggy 2.0? What is something that breaks a lot and would do better with a steal or aluminum piece? Servos, body parts? Thanks for the help guys!
Kyle

Hey Kyle, the things I would upgrade out of the box are rear aluminum diff inserts and the aluminum steering servo arm. I also use a dynamite aluminum throttle servo arm, but that is personal preference, and it's not really need.

The Aluminum rear hubs are nice too, but not needed.

Here are the list of spares I would keep on hand...

Front Shock Shaft
Rear Shock Shaft
Center Front CVD
Shock Boots
Shock Spring Retainers
Rear Diff Housing
4mm Turnbuckle ends

everybody has their own take on the 2.0t. pulling a new one outta box, race roller i would basically just toss an aluminum servo saver top and alum steer horn. maybe go thru it and check fluids and some screws, making sure everythings assembled correctly. read the 8ight t 2.0 threadhttp://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-off-road/256312-8t-2-0-a.html. its a long one but i was a few months late getting mine after release and read 300+pages and glad i did. you will see things you might appreciate adding but the box set up and the losi website setup sheets are helpful

like said above get the losi aluminum uper stearing race peace and the losi aluminum servo arm.

make sure the drop is set right, i have had my shock ends rip off cause mine was not set right cost me a race a couple of times
