Car settings with the most effect...
Can u post which setting u tried and know that had the most effect on the car handling...please try and put some in an order of which has the most and whix has the less impact on the car.
Apart from tyres!!!

On settings, are you meaning tuning of the engine or common settings on the chassis like shocks, gear shifting etc.?
On the tuning, leaning the engine (screwing the High Speed Needle clockwise = less fuel, more air, more power, higher temperature) most certainly gives more power, but lessens the engine's life. You will want to have the engine not too lean and not too rich (screwing the High Speed Needle counter-clockwise = more fuel, less air, less power, lower temperature)
On the shocks of the car, you don't want them to be too loose especially in races as you don't want the car bouncing like crazy. If you are doing jumps, you want to make very sure of this. Having the shocks loose when jumping might cause something to break in the landing as they give way too much.
Focus on having the shocks not too soft or hard.
(I'm not sure on this one, someone verify!)
On the gearing, making it shift later is good in sharp corners, as the car gets more acceleration = more speed to begin with. Making it shift sooner is good on straight sectors.
On glow plugs, colder ones supply more horsepower, hotter ones supply more speed.

Im not trying to hijak this thread but i think what he was wanting to know as well as I is what makes the biggest changes to the least changes on chassie setup since alot of the stuff does the same things as others.i think it would go,diffs , shocks ,ride hight,droop, wheel base , roll center , acerman in that order.

IMO oils gives the biggest change in car, next everything other.

It's really hard to answer this question for him...you're right though Tires and Diff Oil makes a huge difference....I suggest both you gentleman that are asking about settings google a setup for your particular buggy/truck, like I said every vehicle is different there is no set standard that will work all across the board....The Setup for my Thunder Tiger ST-1 doesn't necessarily give the same results on my S-Maxx 3.3

This is kind of hard to answer since certain adjustments make bigger differences for certain situation (if that makes sense). Also, some adjustments can be really extreme and completely change the handling of the car. My recommendation is to read the Hudy set up book. It tells you what changes work better in certain conditions. As for me, I find a basic set-up that is "pretty good" everywhere and then make small adjustments to...
- Front Camber (More/Less Steering)
- Rear Camber (Stability)
- Droop (More - smooth track/less - rough track)
- Ride Height (depends on what you want, this can change a lot of things)
- Rear Camber Link (depends on what you want)
- Shocks (depends on temperatures and track conditions)
- Shock Rebound
- Anti-Squat/Kick-Up
There are so many adjustments, but my opinion is to find a set-up that YOU are comfortable driving, and then make small adjustments from there. To be honest, I consult my Hudy set-up book before I make any set-up changes.

i dont think hes asking for specific settings, but rather wich ones made the biggest changes.although it would be helpful to know what kind of rc he is talking about, truggy, buggy, mt.....

Of the easy to make adjustments that make the most change.
Ride height both total front and rear and the differential from front to rear.
Droop.
Both are easy to adjust and make a major difference in the handling.
