There is no "best" its prefrence they all have goods and bads and that will change from all opinions. Most people on here like losi over ae and serpent. Losi is nice but also serpent are and ae aswell. Go with what has the most at the local tracks. Because you will be able to have help with parts, set-ups, and tricks etc.

If your loyal to serpent you cant go wrong with the 811. I prefer a kit to build my self. If your fine with ordering parts if you have to any will do just fine. Locally there may be more AE and Losi drivers. Coming from onroad you probally know the ins and outs of setup so you could get any of the three on track.

if, your loyal to serpent than yea i whould get the buggy but good luck getting parts for it at lhs if you have one .
also, what helps to is what people run at your track usally what ive notice at most club tracks is losi/associated with mugens and hb and others every once in a while.
theres, nothing wrong with associated buggy/truggys ive raced my gt2 a butch of times and quality isnt that bad about the same as losi if you ask me.
i have two losis a buggy and truggy and a 2wd xxxt and a gt2.
its all in the setup losi arent the best 1/8 around.
there all good 1/8 s.
