Default Soaking tire foam in water to soften them up.

I've seen an interview of Savoya in Euros 2010 in Portugal where he mentioned that to soften proline foams he soaks them in water...and this does the trick.

Anyone tried this out...does it work?

Any alternatives besides buying new foams.

I believe that. The proline foams seems to wear faster than AKA foams and Jconcepts. Take a look here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...d=143554538158

They get softer when they wear and water speeds up that proces. I raced my AKA foams in wet weather, but they are still in perfect shape. But I guess it works with proline foams
