Best put bag/tool box for 1/8 nitro?
Not sure if I posted in the right section, but wondering what y'all use for put bags/tool boxes. My LHS has some but some of them are huge and I don't wa t something obtrusive. I've got a buggy & truggy, not a ton of gear, but enough to need to take multiple trips to the car to get my stuff when I club race.
What gear bags have y'all been using and recommend. Or better yet what should I look for in a bag?

I use the Ofna ultimate pit hauler and love it. Go ahead and get a big one. You might not think you will ever need it, but rc gear has a way acumulating very fast.

I use a Kyosho Deluxe tool box - the big bad boy one.... awesome tool box. Have just got one of the optional parts trays that replaces one of the tool drawers. Enough room in the lid to store oil bottles etc...
Expensive but very nice...

I think you were talking about this kind a bag when you wrote huge: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ic-Inner-Boxes .If yo don't want any bigger bags like this i racommend to look around in Home Depot or Lowes for tool boxs: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...atalogId=10053 And a good fishing outdoor place would have this: http://www.basspro.com/Freshwater-Fi...t-box#Category

I just bought a Reebok hockey bag from Costco after having another Upgrade bag tear. This bag is bigger, has a big pocket on either end, and another external pocket down it's length. It also has ball bearing wheels, and an extendable handle. It cost 40 bucks, and looks great.

+1 to the OFNA pit bag... I have one and so do a bunch of guys at my track, definitely worth the money. Especially considering it comes with a transmitter bag, a tool case and it has wheels...

I've used several types of bags over the years and have come to conclusion that I'm best served by the large plastic totes that are sold at home depot and menards, you can use the smaller plano boxes to organize things, they take a beating, don't tear have zippers go bad or boxes that collapse over time. Plus if you ever travel to races via air you can use them to take gear with you without fear of damaging your stuff. My 2 cents worth.

I have two stanley tool boxes, one is a 3 part stack cabinet, the other is the FAT MAX, I use the the stack for on road, holds everything including the cars, the Fat Max, for off road, has a section perfect for 4 sets of 1/8 scale buggy tires, with lots of room for everything else, including the buggy with the wing taken off. there a great way to go, rugged, get it done option.

There are lot's of good bags out there but I've been using OGIO bags for the last 2 years and I can say that they are by far the best bag on the market, unfortunately they are one of the most expensive as well, but worth every penny. The bigger bags like the 9800, 9900 and the Bus are built on what they call the SLED frame, unbelievably strong, the wheels are big enough to drag through gravel and in all my travels by car, plane or whatever I've never lost a wheel. My first OGIO bag I got about 2 years ago and it is the one I use the most and if you saw it you wouldn't think it was 2 years old. The reason I actually tried the OGIO bags is that I saw the one Travis Amezcua had and was very impressed by it. I'm not sure how old his is but it also has been all over the place and still has no rips, tears, etc. You can usually get them at motocross shops, golf shops or order them online.

+1 on the OGIO products. Bought one last year and don't have one negative about the product. They are a bit more money. But it should be the last bag you will ever need for a long time.

This is what I use. Pretty cheap, great ability to organize your stuff, even can serve as a seat or table top if you get to an event late.
