so what all is different between the 1.0 and 2.0?

i know the towers and the chassie and tank but what else?

Radio Tray, Turnbuckles, Shock Towers, Chassis, driveshafts

I think the diff cases are different too, I could be wrong though

rear a-arms, the outer hinge pin holes need drilled to fit the 2.0.
front a-arms are thinner on the 2.0, but they fit the 2.0
outdrives are differnt, but still work on the 2.0 obvously.
the 1.0 ball studs are smaller but you can take them off the 1.0 and use on 2.0...(along with the ball joint) they are alot more bulky.
rear outer hinge pin brace becomes 3/3 not 3/2 anymore.

-The 2.0 body is different than the 1.0
-Rear diff gear mesh is adjustable w/ shims
-Brake pads are different material, and alot better!

ok so i am looking to get a 1.0 in a trade. i already have a 2.0 chassie, tank, and radio tray. so if i took all the 1.0 arms and stuff off and put them onto the 2.0 chassie then everything would fit? also if i bought 2.0 shock towers. then that would pretty much be a 2.0 then?

Yes, if you bolt the 1.0 front, rear and center onto the 2.0 chassis, you will be good to go. I wouldn't worry about the towers unless you're worried about looks. You may also need a longer rear center driveshaft.

Yup the only real performance difference between a 1.0 and 2.0 is the chassis.

Let me know if you want some 2.0RR towers, I have a lightly used set that I don't use.

The 2.0 chassis is a touch longer in the rear than the 1.0 so you may need a longer rear center CVD, should not be very expensive though.
