Not very well, you really need a 4s.

what mah should i shoot for

Are you just starting 1 car then 2200 mah is ok if you are using it to start 2 cars then I would go at least 3300+ mah.

whats up frank its lydon ya just one car at rescue 2 heats and a main . u ben to antioch hows the indoor layout i can get the turnigy 3s for 15 bucks thats why i asked and its new but i can get a 4s for 24 so i will go 4s just need a lipo glow ignitor and everything is lipo tired of lugging a 12volt batt around

Just about any 4s lipo above 2000 mah and 10c will work. I have 1 protek 2200 4s and 2 turnigy 4000 mah 20c. The 2200 will start 2 cars for the whole day. They all cost the same so if you are going to order from HK may as well get the turnigy for $40. Or get some from the 1/8 electric guys who are upgrading thier packs.

I always like to have a way out of the things I buy when its possible. I bought a 5000 mah 20-30C battery for mine for $40 bucks (Turnigy). That way if I ever need to sell it I can at least break even.

would a 4s 1800 mah work i am only starting my buggy 4 or 5 times a day
