Ten-T to much for nitro newbie?

Never owned a nitro powered rc but absolutely love the looks and features the ten t has. Is it to much truck for someone only owning electric powered 2wd rc's so far? rustler,sc10, and slash. They do have brushless motors. Also considering the hpi mt2 3.0 as something cheaper but looks to be pretty fun.

Power wise you will be fine. 4wd is way more stable, so control shouldn't be an issue. Take your time and learn to tune, or have someone teach you, that is the biggest part of nitro. Nitro also requires a little more time, so plan on that whenever you run. Have fun, the ten t looks pretty bad a$$!

you should be fine, just use factory settings untill you learn to tune. i would recomend you consider the losi 810 also.
